Nick's First Day of Preschool!!

What a trooper! He wasn't nervous at all (or at least he didn't act like it!) Nick got on the bus this morning for his first day of preschool! He goes Monday's and Wednesday's, and I think he's really going to like it!

I can't believe both boys are in preschool this year! Trey's first day is tomorrow, and he was pretty disappointed that Nick went without him!

Cake Batter

I baked a cake the other day (on the grill) and Nick went crazy over licking the beaters!!! He had it all over his face by the time he was done! What a goofball!

The Library

I took the boys to the Library for the first time last Saturday. They officially have library cards and everything. The kids part of the Library was SO much better than I remember it being as a kid! They had all kinds of activities for them, and I had to bribe them to leave (Butler's donuts)
I think we'll be spending a lot more time here! They ask me every day if we can go back!

Heistand's Woods...at dusk

One night last week while I was making supper, the boys asked if they could go to the park. We hadn't been to Heistand's Woods/Park this summer yet....so I told them we would go when they finished their supper. Well, of course Nick had to be his difficult self and he wouldn't eat. He threw a couple temper tantrums (and some food)...but finally finished. We got there with only about 1/2 hour before dark.

Nick's First Trip to the Dentist

Yesterday morning, Nick went to the dentist for a cleaning for the first time. He did awesome!

Visiting with Family

Some of Bill's family were around for a visit on Saturday...we had dinner with them at Balyeat's...

A visit with the Cronenwett's

Because of Bill's class reunion being last Saturday, a lot of his high school friends were home. He had a wild "guys night out" on Friday, the class reunion on Saturday, and then Sunday night we a visited with Brian, Jen & Corbin. Here are some pictures:

Bill's Class Reunion

Bill had his class reunion (20 yrs) this past Saturday. We first met at the new school for a tour. It was our first time there, and very interesting to see where our kids will be going to school. It's very nice! Then we headed out to the Rib Cookoff at the fairgrounds, where they had a tent set up for his class. We both had a great time!

A Swim Date

I took Trey & Nick over to my Aunt Mary's house yesterday to swim with Trent in the pond. (their 2nd cousin). In between fighting over all the toys, they did have a lot of fun! :) As usual, we had to reassure Nick that there were only fish and frogs in the pond, and no sharks
We just cracked up laughing when the boys came out of the shed with all this gear on!! They found the stash of life jackets, goggles, swim masks, snorkels, and fins...and of course their floaties.

Happy Birthday Bill & Steve!!!!

Yesterday was my brother Steve's birthday, and today is Bill's birthday...so last night we took a group over to Beer Barrel Pizza for supper. It is SOOO good!! Then we headed over to the Squirty Worm for some fun! Unfortunately the battery in my camera died when we got to the Squirty Worm, so all the pictures are just from dinner. We all had fun riding go-carts, bumper boats, playing putt-putt...and so on!
