Happy Birthday Nick!

Nick was given the choice to have his birthday party at McDonald's, Pizza Hut, or Chuck E Cheese...and he picked Grandma Cathy's house! So that's where it was! He looked through the book and picked out the cake he wanted (Thomas the Train) and even picked most of the food on the "menu" for dinner.


The first present he opened was a puzzle, and he yelled "Awesome, I always wanted this!!" It was too funny!

Ryanne's Mexican Birthday Party!

We got together to celebrate Ryanne's birthday at Mi Ranchito last Friday night! I had a lot of fun, and I hope Ryanne and everyone else did too! I LOVE girls nights out!I think Ryanne is the only person I know who looks forward to having the employees sing Happy Birthday (or whatever they say in Spanish)!! I guess sitting through it isn't so bad when you get free fried ice cream!!!

Sledding at the Resevoir!!!

The boys have been begging to go sledding for months, and we finally took them! We met up with the Bollenbachers on Saturday and had so much fun! So much so, that we went back on Sunday afternoon for more. This has reinforced the fact that we have two little daredevils!

"Deep in Thought" is the title for the next picture....




I'm guessing we'll be going again soon!

Nick & Max

We have one inside cat - Max. Nick l-o-v-e-s him! Thankfully, Max is the most mild-mannered cat you'll find. He has put up with Nick since birth!
Nick loves to find Max, and carry him to a chair to pet him. Max's arch enemy is Newman...who you can see at the bottom of this picture, just waiting for Max to jump down...

Pizza Party

Finally, we're back up with our computer! I'm going to play a little catch-up here...
A couple weeks ago, we went to Ryanne & Steve's for Pizza, Wii, and just hanging out.... The Ridenours were there too! It was so much fun! Unfortunately, just as we were ready to head over there, Nick got sick. Bill stayed home with Nick, and Trey and I went.

Our computer has been "at the shop" getting fixed. Unfortunately that means no posts lately :(

Advent Santas

We have had a lot of fun with these Santas! They have the numbers 1-25 in the beard area, and each day before Christmas the boys glued a cotton ball on each number - to count down to Christmas. And I'm sure you've figured out that when Santa's beard is full, it's Christmas!!! It made it a lot easier to show them how close/far away Christmas was!

Santa was so good to the boys this year!! They have been busy playing with all their loot the last few days...and Bill has been constantly organizing and trying to find places for all the new stuff!

We had a good ol' fashioned snowball fight the other day! Well - Bill, Trey and I did...Nick was happy to just walk around eating the snow all afternoon :)

Elks Christmas Party

We've had a lot of Christmas posts lately!! 'Tis the Season!

We took the boys to the Elks Christmas Party on Saturday. They had great afternoon planned for the kids! First they had a magician. My boys LOVED it, and you could hear them yelling responses back to the magician when he'd ask a question!



They had lunch, and then Santa came!! Woohoo! :)

A Three Bears Christmas

Thomas Edison preschool had a family day on Friday titled "A Three Bears Christmas". All the kids and families could attend, to make some crafts, listen to a story and sing some songs.

Below is the last "craft" room where they could ice and decorate a christmas cookie. Nick wouldn't stop licking the icing long enough to pose for a picture!!And Santa was waiting to talk to them at the end!

Christmas Extravaganza

Last Thursday night, Ann (below) invited us over to her house for a little Christmas party. We had a lot of fun eating good food, opening presents, and just hanging out....oh, and don't forget the girls making lotion! How Fun!! Our group consisted of myself and the boys, the Bollenbachers, and Julie West and her husband...and of course Ann, Caitlyn (sp), and Ryan.

Christmas Rice Krispie Treats

Sorry for the lack of posts the last couple weeks. I had a problem with my camera/memory card, and lost some pictures - like decorating the tree. Seems to be working ok now...

Saturday I made a big batch of Rice Krispie Treat batter (?) and the boys shaped them into Christmas things...kind of like cookies, I guess. We all had fun with it!

Trey's visit with Santa

I took Trey to see Santa at Kennedy Kuhn last Saturday (Nick was with Bill in Delphos). While we were in line, he was naming off all the things he was going to tell Santa he wanted...then when it was his turn, he was too scared. We actually left and got almost back into town, when he decided he wanted to try it again. So I turned around, and he happily sat on the tractor next to Santa (There would be no sitting on his lap!) We got a picture, and some candy - but he wouldn't talk to him.

I think next time we go to see Santa, Nick definitely has to be there! He's not afraid of Santa, and gives Trey a little courage!!

So I'm still crazy about Christmas shows!! I've done a little research and came up with some links for this years' schedules. ABC Family is doing their "25 Days of Christmas" again - so there's something on every night (but not always a Christmas show). I also have a link to the same website as last year that lists most channels and their times. Enjoy!!
