An Afternoon at the Park

I took the kids to the park yesterday for some play time and a "picnic" lunch. They had fun helping me decide what to pack to eat. They played until a storm came up and made us head for home.

Happy Father's Day AND Birthday!!

We spent Father's Day hanging out with all the fathers in our family. We had lunch with Bill's Dad...then Trey & Nick's Father (aka Bill) relaxed/slept/watched NASCAR all afternoon. For supper we went to see my Father, who celebrated his birthday on Sunday as well.

Niagara Falls

Bill and I celebrated our Anniversary this year by going to Niagara Falls for a couple of days. Neither of us had been there, and we thought it would be a nice little get-away. Thursday we ate our Anniversary dinner at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant (obviously my pick!). Friday we had a great time riding the "Maid of the Mist" boat to see the falls up close, and then doing the "Journey Beneath the Falls" tour (Which took us through a tunnel, and out behind the falls).
I think we will definately go back with the boys when they are older!!

Grandma Cathy & Grandpa Jim took great care of the boys, but they were pretty excited to see us when we got home!! It may have had something to do with the candy we brought them!!

"Menopause The Musical"

As a Mother's Day treat, Aunt Amy invited all the ladies in the Uncapher family to Detroit to see the show "Menopause The Musical". We rode up to Detroit in a Limo. After the show we met up with Uncle Art and Steve for dinner at a Cuban Restaurant in downtown Detroit. We had a really great time visiting, and stuffing ourselves to death! I think we all were able to try something we'd never had before.

This is my cousin Nikki. For anyone who doesn't know, she is expecting her first baby this fall. How exciting!!
