Happy Turkey Day!!!

We stuffed ourselves full, relaxed, watched some football, and spent the day with family - A perfect Thanksgiving!

Below is what appears to be a really sweet picture of Nick and Bill...Actually Nick had a mouthful of juice, and was trying to spit it in Bill's mouth...nice.

Cock-a-doodle-doo!!

Yesterday we went to the Rambler's Roost (Conrad's) as we do most Sunday mornings for breakfast. When we pulled into the parking lot Bill just about died laughing at this guy dressed as a rooster! He was passing papers out with "specials" on them. I happened to have my camera, and thought it would be pretty funny to take the boys' pictures with him...well Trey wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. As you can see below, Nick was happy to stand by him. I hope this isn't an indication of how it will be when we meet Santa!

Go Bucks!Go Bucks!Go Bucks!

I can now mark something off of my bucket list...I've always wanted to be in Columbus for Ohio State vs Michigan. We took a bus trip yesterday down to Hineygate for the game, and had a blast! And of course the best part of the day was the final score!! OSU 42 Mich 7!! Here are some pics from the trip...beginning with a goofy shot of Bill in the bus on the way down. Dusty (aka Nosepicker) and Julie

They are very strict with the open container rules, and within minutes of getting off the bus, a couple people got ticket. ($100 fine!!!!)

Jeff, Jackie, and a random bird...

Happy 50th Anniversary Bill & Nancy!!

We threw a surprise 50th Anniversary Party for Bill & Nancy yesterday. It was tough to work out all the details, and keep it a surprise...but I think they enjoyed themselves.

Below is Grandma Nancy with 3 of her Granddaughters: Jackie, Jenny, and Jill

Photography by Trey

Trey got ahold of our camera about halfway through the party, and was taking pictures of EVERYTHING!! I think his philosophy was "the closer, the better". I think he took about 50 pictures of things, some of people...but mostly just objects. The counter picture below is my personal favorite...

Not sure what Gavin is doing here, but Trey felt it was worth taking a picture!!

Trey wanted Moon Sand for his birthday soooooooo bad... so Grandma Cathy & Grandpa Jim got it for him. The boys love it, but it sure does make a MESS! Here's their latest creation...and Trey with the cheesiest smile ever!

Newman

Things have been pretty low-key around our house for the last week, so I haven't had much to post about. My cousin Amanda had her college graduation party last Saturday, and I of course forgot my camera...then on Sunday I took the boys to see Madagascar 2, which we liked! Then Sunday night I came down with the flu...Yuk!! I was home all day Monday, but I'll spare you the graphic details...I think Newman sensed that I didn't feel well, and laid right by my side. He would even get up and lay his head on me. I thought I'd share some recent pictures of Newman, my "nurse" Lol!

Click for Your Cause

I originally came across this site about mid-October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) ...I'm not sure why it never occurred to me to share with everyone until now. Each day you go to the site, click the "button" and you help a woman in need get a Mammogram. The more clicks, the more Mammograms given. However, the site is not only for Breast Cancer. You can click to give food to hungry people, medical attention to children, books to children, save the rainforest, or give food to animals. The best part of it is that it costs you nothing. Of course you can always donate money, or buy goods to help even more... I think it's wonderful! Click here to check it out!
