New Additions
Meet the newest members of our family: Mudflap and Optimus Prime (Transformers names, of course!). The boys each won a goldfish playing a game at Willshire days. They pull up chairs and watch them...and they love feeding them too!

Willshire Days
We took the boys over to Willshire Days yesterday. We all had a blast! I have to admit that when Bill suggested it, I didn't think there was going to be much there. I was wrong! They had a bunch of blow-up things for the boys... (this is where they spent most of their time!)
And they had FREE pony rides!!
Nick did a little lounging under a tree, while we waited for the kiddie tractor pull
Both the boys participated in the tractor pull
And they had a Cake Walk! How cool! I hadn't heard about one of these since my elementary school carnival days...I even had to explain what a Cake Walk was to Bill! And guess what?? I did it, and won a cake!!

Garage Sale
My Mom and I (and Aunt Mary too!) had a garage sale yesterday and today. It was so stinking hot!!! We did have a pretty good turn-out, and got rid of a lot of stuff. We had fun hanging out and talking too...well at least I did!
Mom, below, thrilled to death to have her picture taken!Aunt Mary trying to stay cool.
There is a story behind this picture...My Dad was going to spread mulch around their house while the garage sale was going on this morning. He went in to change his clothes, because he was using black mulch, and he came out in these shorts. There were holes in them everywhere, particularly a huge one on the side...you could very clearly see his underwear!!! He walked out in them as a couple ladies were there looking at the sale stuff, and my mom just about died of embarrassment! I laughed sooooooooo hard!!! To me, the funniest part was that he couldn't have cared less, and only changed them because my Mom flipped out! What a dork! :)

Slip N Slide
We got out the Slip N Slide Sunday afternoon for the boys. They had a lot of fun! Nick would kind of flop down at the beginning, and "army crawl" all the way to the end.Trey was all-out!
He even started getting a little tricky, and would do a sideways circle as he slid down!
We had lunch outside on the picnic table. Nick wasn't eating fast enough for Trey, so he started feeding him!

Tball!
Since I'm a major slacker in the Tball picture category, I thought I'd share some pictures of the boys practicing with Bill at my Mom & Dad's house the other night. So far they've had "Opening Day" and 3 games, and I've yet to get an actual picture of it!! Unless it rains, I hope to get some pictures tonight...Bill is an assistant coach, Trey plays, and Nick is the Bat Boy.
Trey is catching on so quickly! I'm so proud of him! The ages for this Tball league is 5-6, so he's not really old enough...but we were called and asked if he could play because they didn't have enough kids in the league.Nick is going to be a powerhouse when he's old enough! He's already doing really well!
Don't forget the Strawberry Festival is tonight!! I can't wait!!

Ft Wayne Zoo
I had the day off, so I took the boys to the Ft Wayne Zoo today. We had a lot of fun!
I know you can't see it very well below, but behind Nick is a Toucan. Nick really liked this bird for some reason...
They have a new African area that just opened a couple days ago. There's a place where you can feed the giraffes, so of course we did!
I have no idea what the boys are doing in this picture, but I tried to get them with the giraffe in the background.
Playing the drums!
Nick really got into any part where he could feed the animals. He was feeding geese and ducks for a long time...thankfully it only cost a quarter per handful!
Riding the train
brushing a baby goat in the petting zoo
What a fun day!

Detroit Tigers Game
If anyone remembers, last year my great aunt Amy invited all the women in the Uncapher family to come up to Detroit for a play and dinner. Well, this year she had all the guys (and a couple girls) up for a Tigers game and dinner at the same restaurant. They rode up in one of our limos.Canon & Steve
Canon & Uncle Dave (she's a little ham, isn't she!) :)
The family watching the game.
They went to a Cuban restaurant. When we went last year, I loved trying new foods! Bill, as most of you know, is pretty much a meat & potatoes kind of guy...but it sounds like he did okay.
Bill said Nathan was eating lamb in this picture.

The whole clan next to the limo.
It sounds like they had a great time!
