Mercer County Fair

We took a trip over to the Mercer county fair last Sunday. The boys like the games and rides, but really love to look at all the animals! We all had a good time.

They don't care about fair food, they wanted POPSICLES!!

Nick liked the ponies, but wanted to have Daddy close.

Trey was a natural!

The spinning strawberries...I was dizzy after we were done! I think I'm getting old!

Day Off

Last thursday my babysitter took the day off, and my "back-up" babysitter wasn't able to watch the boys...I started out being very frustrated that I had to take the day off, but it turned out to be a fun day with just me, Trey and Nick. Bill's Open House for Kalida Truck was that day, so we went over to have lunch with him. Then we came home and relaxed (the boys..mommy was cleaning!!) Next stop was to Karen's to go swimming. Nick still isn't over the shark/crocodile (and now octopus) thing with the water, but we still had a good time. Last stop was for supper at the Rootbeer Stand. They love to be able to eat in the car, and hang out up front with me!! We took a "self portrait" after we were done eating.

I suppose this is a lesson learned for myself, and next time I will look forward to a day off!

Not bad for just holding my arm out and pushing the button!

Happy Birthday Daddy & Uncle Steve!!

Steve's birthday was last Saturday and Bill's was Sunday so we had a get-together for them on Sunday evening. There was some dining and hot-tubbing going on (very high class!)

I'll save this picture for when he's leaving for Prom...

Nick knows how to enjoy the "good life"

Daddy's cake was butter brickle...his favorite!

Uncle Steve's birthday cake was white with white frosting. (Yum!)

Cousins

Jay, Dawn & Gavin were visiting for the weekend. All the boys played with bubble machines for hours; I think they had a really great time!

Good old well water!

Trey's Shiner

Trey fell on the steps of the new McDonald's playland. He didn't have to have stitches, but it sure looks ugly!
